    I never come to Alexandria or the DC area without visiting this restaurant. The service is excellent, the setting wonderful and the food perfection. The menu is fixed but they will accommodate food allergies. They have an excellent selection of sake which I like to explore. The prices are reasonable considering the number of courses and the quality of the dishes. If you like Japanese cuisine don’t miss this restaurant.

    Very unique in terms of serving, fish was very fresh and chilled - seemed like they just fished it out of a mountain stream. Initially small portions but I was full after the third plate which was the Chilean sea bass. Excellent place to come for dinner with 2-4 people, I am sure they can accommodate more.

    Very authentic Japanese meal. Every course was extremely enjoyable. Would definitely return!

    I may not be able to predict the election tonight; however, I predict that Chef Yuh would get mentioned and eventually get a star in the Michelin Guide if it was written for Virginia as we had a memorable birthday dining experience chatting with him and Vera. If I were an inspector I would highlight the quality of the ingredients and his mastery of the techniques and flavours along with the consistency in the dining service. Hopefully, the pictures will speak for themselves as I can write a review later as I am preparing myself for a possible Trump presidency and the downturn in the stock futures market.
